Job Title: Painter

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Painter to carry out interior and exterior painting work at residential, commercial, and construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare walls and other surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling cracks.

• Apply putty, primer, paint, and finishing coats as required.

• Perform interior and exterior painting using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

• Mix paints and match colours according to project requirements.

• Ensure smooth, uniform, and high-quality finishing.

• Handle painting tools, materials, and equipment safely.

• Maintain cleanliness at the worksite and protect furniture, floors, and other surfaces.

• Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned work within deadlines.

• Follow workplace safety guidelines while working at heights or using painting equipment.

Requirements

• Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces for painting.

• Clean, scrape, sand, and smooth surfaces before applying paint.

• Apply wall putty, primer, and paint as per project requirements.

• Perform interior and exterior painting using brushes, rollers, and spray machines.

• Mix paints and match colours according to instructions.

• Apply emulsion, enamel, distemper, and other suitable paints.

• Ensure smooth finishing, uniform colour, and good paint coverage.

• Identify and repair minor cracks, holes, and surface imperfections before painting.

• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and nearby surfaces from paint splashes.

• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials properly.

• Follow safety procedures while working on ladders, scaffolding, or at heights.

• Keep the worksite clean and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.

• Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to ensure quality work.
